Abstract

Infrared spectroscopy research is summarized for the following areas: Determination of line strengths and widths in molecular spectra at normal and elevated temperatures; Determination of line strengths and widths in molecular spectra by measurement of optical dispersion; Determination of pressure induced shifts of individual lines at normal and elevated temperatures; Theoretical investigations complementing the experimental work.
