INVESTIGATION ON THE PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS OF THE VALVELESS PULSE JET.

Abstract

The primary objective of the investigation was to provide detailed information of the performance characteristics of the valveless pulse jet. Data include the thrust output, the frequency of operation, the air fuel ratio, and the specific fuel consumption. A secondary objective was to determine what effect the location and size of the intake had upon the performance characteristics. The effects of minor changes in the exhause pipe configuration were also investigated.
