THERMOCOUPLE CALIBRATION IN A SUBSONIC AIR FLOW.

Abstract

This investigation resulted in the construction of a testing device for the calibration of a variety of test thermocouple probes. From the testing of fourteen types of probes a determination was made of the most satisfactory design for thermocouples that are to be used for recording temperature in a subsonic air flow. (Author)
