INSTRUMENT FOR MEASURING THE SPEED OF ULTRASOUND,

Abstract

A patent for an instrument for the measurement of ultrasound velocity, for example, during the polymerization of latex is presented. The circuit for measuring phase shift in the carrier frequency is supplemented with a circuit for measuring the phase shift of the modulating frequency thereby eliminating ambiguity when measuring over a wide range of ultrasound velocities.
