SOME NEW ELECTROCHEMICAL DEVICES,

Abstract

In addition to providing a better understanding, which eventually leads to better control of battery production, electrochemical research can lead to new devices-new products which aid diversification in the industry and help support and stimulate further research. Description of some new devices which have arisen from our program of battery research is presented. These include a coulometer for control of battery charging, a radiation dosimeter and a very sensitive gas pressure regulator for fuel cells. Other electrochemical effects which could be developed into usable controls are discussed. (Author)
