DEVICE FOR AUTOMATIC CHANGING OF THE MAGNETIC FIELD OF A MASS SPECTROMETER,

Abstract

The device consists of a reversible electric motor, a reducer, regulating disks, and detailed parts of hand adjustment. The distinguishing feature of the device is that for the purpose of eliminating the idle running of the scanning and assuring a continuous recording of the spectrum there is used a relay throw-over in the direction of the motor's turning and the potentiometer contacts.
