STUDY AND INVESTIGATION OF MILLIMETER AND SUBMILLIMETER WAVE RECEIVER TECHNIQUES.

Abstract

This program has as its goal the development of video and superheterodyne detection techniques which are appropriate for the millimeter and submillimeter range of the spectrum. A theoretical method of analysis of a tunnel diode in a waveguide is developed and the results are correlated with experimental data of other experimentors. Results are given for twelve loop detectors which were tested at 4mm and for an X-band model. (Author)
