THE TETRAENOIC ACID OF TECOMA STANS SEED OIL,
Abstract
A fatty acid, isolated from the seed oil of Tecoma stans (L.) H.B.K., is shown to be the hitherto unknown octadecatrans-3,cis-9,cis-12,cis-15-tetraenoic acid. It constitutes about 19% of the total fatty acids. (Author)
