INVESTIGATION OF CONTACTLESS SWITCHING CONCEPTS FOR APPLICATION TO AIRCRAFT ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS. VOLUME V. INVESTIGATION OF MULTIPLE SIGNAL GENERATION, TRANSMISSION, AND DETECTION.
Abstract
A study program was conducted to establish system requirements and circuit concepts for accomplishing multiple signal generation, transmission, and detection in conjunction with the utilization of the contactless switching system in an aircraft electrical system. Several system concepts were developed, subjected to theoretical analyses, and found to meet the requirements established for the multiple signal system. Problem areas expected with regard to the proposed concepts were discussed, and the compatibility of these concepts with the contactless switching system and with aircraft control functions was considered. It was concluded that a multiple signal system is quite possible, but further investigation is needed before the practicality of such a system could be determined. (Author)
