ON THE APPLICATION OF CURTIS-GODSON'S APPROXIMATION TO THE 9. 6 U BAND OF ATMOSPHERIC OZONE.

Abstract

Critical study of the Curtis-Godson's approximation, applied to the present interpretation of the observations of the atmospheric ozone in infra-red. Computations of the corrections to be brought to account for the different conditions in laboratory experiments and observations through the atmosphere. Comparison between theoretical results and observational data. Factual conclusions. (Author)
