FRICTION BEARING,

Abstract

A friction (sliding) bearing for rapid-action machines, such as, a turbo compressor is described. The bearings contains a floating bushing with two surfaces of friction. The distinguishing feature for improving the antifriction qualities with great speeds of friction the inner surfaces of the sleeve and seat of the support are designed with V-shaped oil pockets.
