MAGNETIC-AIR BRAKE FOR TEST OF MICROTURBINES,

Abstract

A description is given of the magnetic-air brake UIMT-4 and data on the results of its final adjustment and operation. The brake was used to test air micro-turbines with power from 0.026 to 3.5 horsepower, developed in the range from 15,000 to 60,000 rpm respectively.
