RANGE DISTRIBUTION OF 22NA POSITRONS IN ARGON AND NITROGEN,

Abstract

Range distributions of 22Na positrons were measured in argon and nitrogen, using a two-photon coincidence apparatus. The distributions are compared with theoretical positron path length distributions, and are used to calculate correction factors applicable to the study of positronium formation in gases. (Author)
