HIGH-SPEED TRANSISTORIZED MAGNETOMETER,

Abstract

A magnetometer is described which permits continuous measurement of constant magnetic fields in the range of 0-80 gauss, with an accuracy of = 0.05%-= 0.01 gauss. The instrument's reaction time is 0.001 sec.; its output is direct current (0-220 mamp) proportional to the field intensity. The magnetometer is used for magnetic measurements on the circular electron phasotron at the Physics Institute of the Academy of Sciences, and also in the stabilization system of the initial field of this accelerator.
