FLUID AMPLIFICATION. 15. EXPERIMENTAL FLUIDIC ANALOG COMPUTATION,

Abstract

The jet deflection type proportional fluid amplifier and passive fluid components have been placed in circuits to perform integration and summing. The circuits were then interconnected to solve a second-order differential equation. Solutions were obtained for both damped and undamped cases. The results vary 2 to 17 percent from the predicted values. Reasons for the discrepancies are discussed. (Author)
