PHOTOGRAPHY OF EXTENDED ASTRONOMICAL RADIO EMISSION REGIONS.

Abstract

The techniques and results of filter photography of gaseous nebulae and extended galactic radio sources are presented. An investigation was carried out into the problem of producing large diameter interference filters. Using the filters produced, more than 20 radio emission regions in the galactic plane were photographed. The aim was to investigate spectral differences between H alpha regions and supernovae remnants.
