STRESS RUPTURE TEST OF MATERIAL IN LIQUID METAL UNDER CONDITIONS OF MASS TRANSFER,

Abstract

Tests made in the air, in a motionless liquid metal, and under conditions of transfer of mass in accordance with the proposed procedure showed that in the last case the endurance strength for 1,000 hours proved to be lower by a factor of two than in the first two cases. The method enables one to obtain the characteristics of heat resistance closer to the service ones. (Author)
