SUBSIDIARY RESONANCE IN PLANAR HEXAGONAL FERRITES,

Abstract

Subsidiary resonance phenomena in single-crystal ZnY and Mn-ZnY have been theoretically and experimentally investigated. Using a general expression for the first-order spin-wave instability, the threshold fields for pump frequencies above the characteristic frequency are calculated. Good agreement is shown between experimental data and theoretical predictions. (Author)
