ARCS AND CHORDS, II.

Abstract

The simple arcs of Hausdorff dimension h> 1 are studied from the point of view of the limits of the ratio: (lambda to the hth power) J(v,v')/absolute value (v-v') to the hth power, as v' approaches v, where J(v, v') is the arc between v and v'. The bounds of various densities at points of arcs are given. It is shown that in all cases but one the bounds are exact. (Author)
