APPLICATION OF LIGHT AND IMAGE INTENSIFICATION.

Abstract

Series of experiments with sintered CdSe PC sandwich cells have been continued with the goal to eliminate the spotty structure, due to inhomogeneities and the formation of cadmium oxychloride during the sintering process. Small image intensifier panels have been fabricated using the test cells of above experiments. It was found that PC layers sintered mostly in nitrogen show much better image quality than those sintered in air atmosphere. (Author)
