AN INVESTIGATION OF SHORT LINE TRIANGULATION ACCURACIES COMBINED WITH THE FIELD TESTING OF A KERN DKM-3 MODIFIED WITH A 5-WIRE RETICULE

Abstract

The objective of this paper is to study the problems and procedures of short line triangulation, and to test the 5-wire reticule in the DKM-3 theodolite. This investigation is designed to be a field test. No attempt was made to evaluate the accuracy of the theodolites under laboratory conditions as this has been done many times.
