ERROR ESTIMATES IN ANALOG COMPUTATIONS.

Abstract

A set of equations is derived for estimating the firstorder errors in simple analog circuits. For the simple scale-changing inverter, these equations are shown to be decomposable into errors due to finite gain, nonzero input admittance, and output impedance. The contribution of each of these sources of inaccuracy may be easily combined to yield the final overall estimate of the error. For the integrator, no such easy simplification was found, but the general expression for the first approximator of the error is given in dimensionless form. (Author)
