THE USE OF SILICONIZED GLASS VIALS IN PREVENTING WALL ADSORPTION OF SOME INORGANIC RADIOACTIVE COMPOUNDS IN LIQUID SCINTILLATION COUNTING,

Abstract

Serious errors may result in the assay of some inorganic compounds by liquid scintillation counting due to the adsorption of these materials on the walls of glass counting vials. The report deals with the use of siliconized glass counting vials to prevent the 'wall adsorption' of P32 and Ca45-labeled materials. (Author)
