Abstract

The notes are published to provide the using arms and ordnance maintenance personnel with information and guidance for the proper handling, installation, operation, and maintenance of the Armament Subsystem, Helicopter, 7.62mm Machine Gun, Twin XM2. The primary purpose of the Armament Subsystem Twin XM2 is to provide inflight capability of the H-13 helicopter to suppress enemy ground fire. This kit can also be used for other air-toground firing situations.
