EXPERIMENTAL INVESTIGATION OF DISPERSION CHARACTERISTICS OF CENTRIFUGAL INJECTOR NOZZLES OF GREATER PRODUCTIVITY,

Abstract

An increase in diameter of output opening on injector nozzle changes the effect of liquid pressure and structural parameters of the nozzle on the fineness of fuel dispersion. The existing semi-empitical criterial ratios, obtained during the study of low yield nozzles, cannot be used to determine the characteristic dimensions of liquid droplets, dispersed by nozzles of greater yield. Injector nozzles of greater yield of A type possess better dispersion qualities than B type nozzles. (Author)
