METHOD OF OBTAINING ALKYL AND ARYL CHLOROSILANES,

Abstract

The object of the invention is a method of obtaining alkyland aryl-silane-chlorides (chlorosilanes) by means of the reaction of a silico-cupric contact mass with alkyl and aryl chlorides with intermingling (stirring) which has the distinguishing feature that, for the purpose of improving the productivity and the yield of the end product, the mass is intermingled by the passing through it of a stream of alkyl and aryl chlorides with a speed of 1 to 20 cm/sec and the process takes place in a bubbling layer. The contact mass is pulverized to particles of the dimension of 0.02 to 0.25 mm. (Author)
