STRESS FUNCTIONS FOR A COSSERAT CONTINUUM.

Abstract

In this paper, a complete solution, in terms of stress functions of classical elasticity, is obtained for the linear equations of an isotropic, elastic, Cosserat continuum. The special solutions for the concentrated force and couple are also given. (Author)
