Abstract
Collection contains reports of scientific conference of thermal stresses in structural elements conducted by scientific council on the problem 'Scientific bases of strength and plasticity' at OTN Academy of Sciences of USSR, by Kiev Order of Lenin State University im. T. G. Shevchenko, and by Institute of Mechanics of Academy of Sciences USSR. Reports are dedicated to research of nonstationary problems of thermal conductivity, problems of thermoelasticity and thermoplasticity and thermoplasticity in quasi-static setting: to study of thermal stresses in separate elements of structures; and to consideration of dynamic effects during heating. Illuminated also are questions of stability of shells during nonuniform heating, calculations of plastic flows in structures during multiple nonuniform heating and other questions of thermal strength of structures.
