THE MICROTRON AND ITS AREAS OF APPLICATION,

Abstract

A review is given of the basic results obtained in the study and development of a microtron with a large beam current. Comparison is made between this new type of electron accelerator and other electron accelerators of average energy. Areas of application of the microtron in various scientific and technical areas are briefly considered. (Author)
