The Bibliography provides a current and comprehensive coverage of basic and applied scientific research on snow, ice, and permafrost, as well as living and working in polar regions and other cold areas. Each entry includes a bibliographic citation, code designating the library holding of the abstracted item, assigned call number, Universal Decimal Classification number, and the abstract. This volume has a geographic index which was included as a forerunner to future editions contingent on the value derived.
