NEW METHOD OF DETERMINING THE LIAPUNOV FUNCTIONS (NOVYI SPOSIB VYZNACHENIIA FUNKTSII LIAPUNOVA).

Abstract

The proposed new method is one for determining the Liapunov functions in the more general form required for investigating the stability of nonlinear automatic systems. The distinctive feature of the system is that no limitations are imposed on the type of Liapunov functions, and the Liapunov function is found objectively by solving a system of differential equations. An algorithm is proposed for formulating the indicated differential equations.
