RESEARCH ON PHOTOVOLTAIC CELLS.

Abstract

The report describes research and development on thin film solar batteries. The fabrication and study of thin films of CdS:Se, CdSe, CdTe, ZnSe, and GaAs and thin film solar batteries of CdS:Se, CdSe, and CdTe is discussed in detail. A study of the etching behaviour of II-VI compounds, completed as a part of this program, has been published elsewhere. An abstract of the work is included in this report. (Author)
