EFFECT OF MANY-BODY INTERACTIONS ON THE TEMPERATURE-DEPENDENT AMPLITUDE OF DE HAAS-VAN ALPHEN OSCILLATIONS.

Abstract

Improvements in experimental techniques permit the measurement of the temperature dependence of the amplitude of de Haas - van Alphen oscillations. It is shown that at low temperatures when many-body effects are included the mass should be the band structure effective mass corresponding to the cyclotron orbits associated with the de Haas-van Alphen oscillation enhanced by electron-phonon interactions.
