DESTRUCTIVE HYDROGENEATION OF AROMATIC HYDROCARBONS.

Abstract

The table of contents lists the authors and titles of the 18 articles contained in the collection. Abstracts are included of articles with some relevance to aspects of the manufacture of T-5 fuel. In general, emphasis is given to problems of the chemistry of processes of destructive hydrogenation under high pressures and at high temperatures, to methods of identifying resultant hydrocarbons and their groups, and to the industrial application of these findings to such products as petroleum distillation residue and coal tars. The problems of fuel chemistry are approached through recently developed methods for the synthesis of aromatic hydrocarbons-typical constituents of liquid fuels.
