Abstract
Aminated bentonite proved to be an active filler in polycaprolactam. The degree of amination effects hardness: the hardness is higher, if under- or overaminated bentonites are used. The explanation offered is that a certain degree of polarity is necessary for maximum development of the filler's activity. (Extracted)
