AIRCRAFT AND ROCKET LUBRICANTS.
Abstract
The book provides basic information from Soviet and nonSoviet open sources on the energy-producing capacity and physical, chemical, and operational properties of fuels and lubricants for modern aircraft engines. Problems of handling and testing of these materials are discussed, and the technology of manufacture is described in brief. The chapter on rocket fuels is based exclusively on non-Soviet literature. The discussion of fuels is limited to the commonly known properties of gasolines and T-1 and TC-1 fuels. The book is intended for engineering personnel in aviation and rocketry and may also be useful to flying personnel. (Author)
