PRODUCTION ENGINEERING MEASURE FOR TYPE CR-(XM-60)/U CRYSTAL UNITS.

Abstract

The results of two meetings to discuss the problems involved in obtaining satisfactory Kold-Weld holders of the HC-6/U configuration are detailed: attempts at obtaining satisfactory lead attachment by means of ultrasonic welding techniques are described, as well as results of investigations to improve processing and fabrication techniques and results obtained during the first four months of the reliability study of CR-47A/U crystal units.
