TITRIMETRIC DETERMINATION OF ACETATE AND FREE ALKALI IN THE PRESENCE OF ALKALI SALTS.

Abstract

A rapid, accurate volumetric procedure is described for the determination of acetate and free alkali in stannate immersion baths. Both determinations are made on one sample with no interference from phosphate, stannate and carbonate salts. Gas liquid chromatograph (GLC) is used qualitatively to detect salts of other organic acids. (Author)
