NIGHT LOOKOUT TRAINING SCHOOL.

Abstract

The apparatus employed for night lookout training at the U. S. Submarine Base, New London, Connecticut, is described. The procedure employed in its use is given in detail, together with the results which have been obtained to date. It is concluded that this device is of great value for training; however, it cannot, as yet, be used in the accurate determination of efficiency of night vision. (Author)
