Abstract
Included in this program are studies in marine geology, the sediments, their character, distribution and origin, the structure of the ocean basins and the tectonic features found within them; and the physiography of the ocean floor; in marine geophysics, including seismology reflection as well as refraction - gravity, magnetism, and geothermal measurements; and in oceanography, both physical and chemical.
