APPROXIMATE METHODS FOR RIGID PLASTIC STRUCTURES SUBJECTED TO DYNAMIC LOADING,
Abstract
Extensions of impulsive loading theorems for rigidplastic continua and mode approximations for implusively loaded rigid-plastic structures in the literature are considered. The extensions lead to bounds and approximate methods for bodies subjected to an initial impulse and time-dependent loads. Illustrative examples are given. (Author)
