SPECTRAL ANALYSIS OF TSUNAMI RECORDS FROM STATIONS IN THE HAWAIIAN ISLANDS,

Abstract

Power spectra of wave records of recent tsunamis as recorded at several stations in Hawaii and Midway are calculated digitally. The power spectra are examined to find characteristics special to a given station and common to nearby stations. Energy decay curves are calculated and discussed. (Author)
