GEOLOGIC STUDIES OF THE COLORADO DELTA.

Abstract

Reconnaissance field work in the Colorado Delta area has been begun. Work includes detailed mapping of micro relief features of sand tide flats, tidal channel and marsh. Sediment samples have been collected from tide flat, beach, spit and tide creek environments. Aerial photographic studies are in progress. (Author)
