SOME MATHEMATICAL NOTES ON THREE-MODE FACTOR ANALYSIS; THREE-MODE FACTOR ANALYSIS OF PARKER-FLEISHMAN COMPLEX TRACKING BEHAVIOR DATA; A THREE-MODE FACTOR ANALYSIS OF CLINICAL JUDGMENT OF SCHIZOPHRENICITY,

Abstract

The model for three-mode factor analysis is discussed in terms of newer applications of mathematical processes including a type of matrix process termed the Kronecker product and the definition of combination variables. A combination method of analysis utilizing Tucker's generalized learning curves and three-mode factor analysis is tried out on intercorrelations of several measures of performance at several stages of practice on a complex tracking task. An analysis is presented of clinical judgment data utilizing a relatively new statistical technique.
