Abstract
Preproduction tests on one item have been completed. Outstanding performance of the taut-band suspension resulted in performance that was consistently better than the specification required. Group V preproduction tests on two other items also were successfully completed. Preproduction samples required to complete tests on a total of three items are essentially complete and ready for testing. Preparations for the pilot runs are well under way with nearly all pilot line tooling completed. (Author)
