A COMPENDIUM OF RADIOCHEMICAL PROCEDURES FOR THE DETERMINATION OF SELECTED FISSION PRODUCTS IN SEA WATER,

Abstract

Procedures are described for analyzing seawater samples for the following fission-product nuclides: Cs137, Sr89, Sr90, Y91, Ce141, Ce144, Ba140, Zr95, Ru103, Ru106, Mo99, and I131. All procedures employ either solvent extraction, precipitation, or ion exchange chromatography to separate the fission products from seawater. (Author)
