RESEARCH INTO METHODS OF DETERMINING THE RELATIVE HEIGHTS OF PHYSIOGRAPHIC FEATURES OF THE MOON.

Abstract

The relative merits of two alternative methods for determining the shape of the Moon are considered. It is concluded that the terminator method is inferior to the libration method because the law of reflection of light from the surface of the Moon is not well known and cannot be ignored. (Author)
