A METHOD FOR DETERMINING KLYSTRON GAP CAPACITANCES.

Abstract

The report describes a perturbation method used to determine the gap capacitances of a two-gap, supporteddrift-tube klystron. The effect of fringing fields on the capacitances is taken into account by perturbing the gaps with dielectric material. The method discussed in this report is applicable to either equal or unequal gaps. (Author)
