WAVE PHENOMENA IN IONIZED GASES.

Abstract

The propagation of waves in uniform, unbounded magneto-plasmas is reviewed. Emphasis is placed on describing the various approaches and plasma models which may be used. The results and limitations of the different methods are discussed and compared. Dispersion curves for each model are presented in the form of omega-k plots. (Author)
