LISP PRIMER: A SELF-TUTOR FOR Q-32 LISP 1.5.

Abstract

The document is a self-tutor for LISP 1.5 programming, particularly for on-line Q-32 LISP 1.5. Material is organized into chapters that, by discussion and example, progressively expand the student's understanding of the language and ability to write programs in the language. A carefully selected and graduated set of exercises for use on-line is provided as an integral part of each chapter. Computer-checked answers for each exercise are also provided as a separate appendix. The document is not an exhaustive treatise on LISP 1.5, but, rather, a practical primer that provides the serious student with a solid foundation for understanding the programming language and system. He may then easily supplement his knowledge from other sources. (Author)
